Dimitar Iliev holds leadership after the second day of Rally "Sredna gora"

Dimitar Iliev and Yanaki Yanakiev lead the ranking after the second day of Rally "Sredna gora"  which launched the National Championship and a range of Eastern European Cup FIA.

The tandem of VIVACOM Rally Team Skoda Fabia S2000 with a 48.3 seconds to advance the second and Martin Surilov Zdravko Zdravkov from Mtel Rally Team. Third in the ranking are Peter Gyoshev and Dimitar Spasov from Prestige Rally Team.

In the 5th stage of the race (Strelcha 2 - 16.21 km) Iliev and Yanakiev gave the best time - 8.08.4 minutes. After they finished Plamen Staykov / Slav Landov of Eurocom Rally Team, a crew of Globul Rally Team - Krum Dontchev and Petar Yordanov, who deal with serious damage to his Peugeot 207 S2000, the record third time - 8.14.8 minutes.

Peter Spasov and Dimitar Gyoshev of Prestige Rally Team were the fastest in the last special stage today - Chelopech Gold Mines 2 (19.27 km), ahead of Plamen Staykov / Slav Landov Krum Dontchev / Petar Yordanov. Dimitar Iliev finished with the 7th time, but it took the leadership position.

In the last two stages best performing Turkish crew in the  Rally "Sredna gora" - Yagiz Avdzha and Bahadir Gyuchenmez by Castrol Ford Team - record sixth time and stepped out the battle for the podium.

Anton Titov and Ventsislav Mirchev hit his Citroen DS3RT in the second pillar through Chelopech gold mines. Fortunately the crew escaped without injury, but will continue to participate in the race tomorrow.
